ORC 57 ADV
Projects
Sustainable High-Speed Sailing
ORC 57 ADV
Having previously served as an ambassador for Outremer, Malcolm co-developed the 4.zero prototype alongside legendary sailor Jimmy Cornell. It became the world’s first production electric catamaran with fully integrated propulsion, setting a new benchmark for sustainable cruising.
Now as ORC’s newest ambassador, Malcolm brings a proven track record in sustainable innovation and performance sailing to one of the world’s most advanced catamaran brands. The new ORC 57 ADV—designed in close partnership with him—pushes the limits of long-range, wind-powered exploration. With sailing as the default and engines rarely needed, the vessel can sustain average speeds over 20 knots in the right conditions.
The 57 ADV will serve as a platform for expeditions that blend adventure, extreme sports, and environmental storytelling, spotlighting climate issues and plastic pollution. The first mission takes Malcolm and his team into the icy waters of the High North, testing the limits of the boat and crew while documenting their journey through one of Earth’s harshest environments.
Air Pollution in Asia
Projects
8000m Climb
Air Pollution in Asia
From the rooftop of the world, Mount Everest and a world’s first speedflying attempt from above 8000m. Seeking Clean Air aims to raise awareness about air pollution in Asia. Seven million people around the world die annually as a result of air pollution. This documentary dives into the science of prevention and the effects of this silent killer, showing the difficulty of breathing in a polluted environment against trying to stay alive on the roof of the world. We talk to the scientific community and try to uncover the extent of the problem globally and what we need to do to make change. The film will follow the team’s attempts to train for such an extreme objective in their respective cities in East Asia – Kathmandu and Hong Kong – both frequently plagued with air pollution issues.

Outremer Zero
Projects
ZERO EMISSIONS SAILING
Outremer Zero
The Outremer 4zero prototype, named Meru, represents the future of emissions-free boating. Malcolm has partnered with Jimmy Cornel one of the most famous living sailors and Outremer France’s leading Catamaran Sailing companies to pioneer zero emissions sailing for the cruising world. Meru t is the first in this category and is integrated with a full electric engine and system. A combination of sail, regenerative electric and solar power remove the need for any fossil fuels on-board and enable complete autonomy regardless of the conditions.
Malcolm will be testing a prototype flexible dual side generating Solar Sail system with the hope to give more people accessed to this green solution for multiple industries. The first planned expedition will see the team venture into the cold northern winter waters close to the artic testing the full limits of the boat and her crew while documenting its passages into areas previously inaccessible to non-fossil fuel equipped sailing craft.
